The goal of the State Fair of Virginia in conducting its eighteenth annual wine competition is to promote and showcase the Virginia wine industry. The fair, held Sept. 24 thru Oct. 4 2009 at The Meadow Event Park in Doswell, Virginia features Virginia’s finest animals and agriculture, exhibits and shows, toe-tappin’ music, fine arts and crafts, blue ribbon competitions and more!
